Enjoy lunch on your own and shopping time in beautiful downtown Asheville . Don’t miss the Mast Hardware store opened in 1883. The site was named to the National Register of Historic Places as one of the finest remaining examples of an old country general store.

It all began with a small group of gingerbread houses built by community members in 1992 as another way to celebrate the holiday season with no plans to continue, who knew two decades later The Omni Grove Park National Gingerbread House Competition would be one of the nation’s most celebrated and competitive holiday events. The Gingerbread Display has become a family tradition. From the very young to the very young at heart, the reaction to this magical experience is the same – one of wonder, awe and delight. Plus, the beloved g-scale model train offers nightly service to the North Pole. All aboard!!!

6:00 PM Arrive at the Billy Graham Training Center at the Cove. The Cove’s story began with a vision that God placed on the hearts of Billy and Ruth Graham. A review of the years prior to the founding of The Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove reveals how God led the Grahams, opened doors, and paved the way for Ministry in this unique mountaintop retreat center. The Cove’s story is interwoven with the history of Billy Graham’s calling and ministry.

12:00 PMArrive at Antler Village, a vibrant hub of activity that connects the Biltmore Estate’s past and present with dining, shopping, exhibits, a Winery, a Farmyard and Outdoor Adventure Center. While at Antler Village enjoy lunch on your own and make time for a Wine Tasting!

6:00 PMEnjoy the Candlelight dinner included at Stable Café located on Biltmore grounds. Imagine what the space would have looked like decades ago when horses were calling it home. Take in all of the woodwork and the craftsmanship that is displayed all over the Café, where even the smallest detail is perfected.
7:30 PMBe ready to be amazed on a self-guided visit of the Candlelight Christmas Biltmore Estate in all its Candlelight Christmas glory. A majestic Norway spruce & pathway luminaries welcome you to America’s Largest Home. Inside, with Christmas music playing, thousands of ornaments reflect the soft glow of candles, fireplaces, and twinkle lights. There are more than 100 hand decorated Christmas trees, 100,000 holiday lights, 1,200 live poinsettias and 6,000 feet of fresh evergreen garland that provide the Estate that magical ambiance satisfying all the senses. Note: Audio included.
